英國獨立報:HSBC考慮向投資者要求200億現金

如果HSBC真的要因HSBC Finance而搞到要供股的話,那大家要預期,三月二日公布的業績,將會相當難看。

香港的散戶們,你們在構築血肉長城時,應該要清楚幾個問題:

1. 有沒有足夠資金準備供股
2. 對供股後,HSBC資本應付這一劫有沒有信心,至低限度,不用要求英國政府求援。
3. 一旦HSBC真的要英國政府伸出援手,你如何處理你的投資

小弟並不想刻意唱淡HSBC,因為小弟依家都要頭痕如何料理HSBC不宜處理的東西,由誰處理(小弟不會找Citi或Bank of America幫忙就是),但小弟的忠告是,三月二日HSBC公布業績,或供股通告,內裡內容必須以驗屍的態度來對待,再作出去或留的決定。

此外,HSBC能否單憑供股解決問題,很大程度上,視乎市場願不願意投HSBC信心一票,照供如儀,皆因HSBC不像渣打,渣打供股由新加坡政府擁有的淡馬錫控股一力包銷,這是渣打可以避免英國政府伸出援手的原因。但如果機構投資者供股反應太差,不能夠湊足二百億美元的話,小弟相信,HSBC遲早要與英國、中國和香港政府三方商討政府入股安排。

  1. 二百億美金,其實以HSBC級數,應該可以食得落,單係香港粉絲,隨時認購左一半都仲得。睇血肉長城就知。
    或者英國政府認四分一,中共又認四分一,如下一半比街外。

    渣打是變相新加坡旗下的話,其實一樣可以如HSBC一樣再注資都唔定,不同是一個向市場,一個向阿公問。

I really think their are a lot more bad news still lies within the banking sector, until we can get a more transparent details as to where the next 2 qtrs are heading, or how many more unrecoverable debt out there, why not sit on the side line a bit, lets just say the downward pressure will continue for the next 2-3 months.
    I have been actively lurking in the housing market in Hk and lets just say most of the banks in Hk still over value their mort debt ration, I think they are still trying to support the real-estate developers, but this is the very formula that put US into the housing burst, Hk housing price should sit even lower than the price of SARS period, high unemployment, low productivity, shaky credit do not amount to high real estate price, a 15% roll back from it’s peak is not enough.
    Those who think a 6 months turn around flip, well maybe u shud get out while u can now!?
